Dr. Eric Hefferon

Dr. Eric Hefferon received his advanced doctorate degree in physical therapy from the innovative A.T. Still University. He has been practicing in the west valley for 9 years and has made strong ties to local gyms and medical practitioners. Dr. Hefferon started Impact Physical Therapy due to his passion for an individualized approach.

Dr. Tamara Hefferon

Dr. Tamara Hefferon is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has a strong passion instilling and empowering others to achieve optimum health, believing strongly in the mantra Exercise is Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona, with an emphasis in exercise physiology.

Dr. Dave Balzer

Dr. Dave Balzer is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and also a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA. Dave’s passion is empowering others to fulfill their goals of living a healthy, active lifestyle. He grew up in Morris, Illinois, a small suburb of Chicago, and attended Augustana College in Illinois where he earned his B.S. in Biology. He was a four-year student-athlete on the Augustana College baseball team and this experience pushed him toward the physical therapy profession.

Dr. Sarah Somers

Dr. Sarah Somers is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has a myriad of passions in the health and wellness world. She received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from Arizona State University. A developing athlete still, she has a background in soccer, golf, basketball, and softball, but loves aspects of all sports. This passion for athletics is where her desire to impact others lives developed. She believes in the power of human touch, and her doctorate degree allowed her desire for movement and manual therapy skills to evolve.

Dr. Tricia O’Driscoll

Dr. Tricia O’Driscoll is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a strong passion to help others achieve a healthy, active lifestyle and achieve their goals. She is a native to the Valley of the Sun, until moving to Charleston, South Carolina. There she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology while also competing in D1 collegiate volleyball for 4 years.

Dr. Ashley Wissink

Dr. Ashley Wissink earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University in 2018.  She received her Masters of Public Health degree from New Mexico State University in 2015, where she also served as a Graduate Assistant & Women’s Soccer Coach.  In 2013, she completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University where she was a four year starter for the GVSU Women’s Soccer Team.

Kelcey Bates

Kelcey is a movement and exercise enthusiast. An avid hiker, animal lover and traveler, Kelcey currently resides in Kaneohe, Hawaii. grew up in Peoria, AZ, but has familial roots across the U.S. in California, the Carolinas, New York, Idaho, and Chicago; which intensifies her love of food and travel.

Kelly Cefalu

Kelly is from a small town in Wisconsin, Waunakee. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business-Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where also played collegiate volleyball. She moved to Phoenix in August 2017 and has loved the change of scenery, the weather, and the endless amount of things to do in the valley.

Ashley Frye

Ashley is our lead experience specialist at Impact Physical Therapy. Her passions include instructing Pure Barre, staying active, live music, and quality time with family, friends, and her dog Billy. Ashley could also be described as a “foodie,” as she loves to try new restaurants and thoroughly enjoys pairing wine with food.

Macey Ehlo

Macey was born and raised in the small town of Pullman, Washington. She graduated from Eastern Washington University, where she received a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Macey completed a 16-week internship at St Luke’s Rehabilitation Center in Spokane, Washington, where she focused on community reintegration and getting patients back to doing what they enjoy.
