Shoulder Exercises After Surgery

Glendale Physical Therapist

You just had surgery on your shoulder, ouch! Now that it is over, the long road to recovery begins. We know you want to get back to your old self again and feeling better than ever, and a lot of that starts with physical therapy, and helping you regain your range of motion back in your arm and shoulder. Every physical therapist does things a bit differently, but we have had a lot of success with our clients while isolating certain portions of the arm while exercising, and helping focus on the specific areas in need versus just the same motions over and over again.

Dr. Eric Hefferon explains some great movements for anyone post surgery in the video below- we hope his tips help you on your road to recovery!
