Esosa Nwambuonwo

Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C)

Esosa is an Arizona board certified nurse practitioner. She was born in Nigeria and has lived in Phoenix since she was 6 years old. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Arizona where she obtained a bachelors in nursing. She then spent the next 16 years working at Mayo Clinic and specialized in the post-operative patient population as well as gastrointestinal disease, gynecological care and palliative patient care. She has years of experience in pain management, patient education and disease management. Esosa decided to extend her nursing role and further her education because she believed she had more to offer to the nursing practice and patients. She obtained a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner from Grand Canyon University.

She is a passionate educator and has served as a mentor to nursing students and nursing colleagues. She was an active member of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) USA which and presented at several national conferences. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She believes and practices in a manner that looks at the patient as a wholistic being and is interested in using multimodal aspects of treatment to provide preventative care as well as health management. She is excited to be a part of the impact team and enjoys  working collaboratively with different healthcare disciplines to provide excellent care.

Esosa enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her husband, 3 beautiful children and large family. She serves as an active leader in her church and has been doing so for over 15 years.
