Originally from Bulgaria, Dr. Miki Williams moved to Dallas, Texas at age six and grew up in the heart of the Lone Star State. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas in 2016 before relocating to Arizona with her husband.
Miki completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Franklin Pierce University in Goodyear, AZ, where she now serves as adjunct faculty. She has been part of the Impact Physical Therapy team since 2021, and currently serves as the Scottsdale Clinic Manager. She is also a dedicated clinical instructor, passionate about mentoring students and supporting their growth into skilled, confident professionals.
Her clinical focus is in orthopedic rehabilitation with a strong emphasis on return-to-sport and return-to-work. She holds a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) credential and has additional training in concussion management and gait assessment, allowing her to offer comprehensive, evidence-based care across a wide range of conditions.
Miki teaches dry needling certification courses through the Impact Institute and is deeply committed to lifelong learning. She actively pursues continuing education to refine her skills and stay at the forefront of evidence-based care. Driven by curiosity and a desire for excellence, she thrives in environments that challenge her to grow and explore meaningful questions that lead to better patient outcomes.
Outside the clinic, Miki enjoys strength training, Lagree, and functional fitness—activities that support her personal well-being and complement her clinical approach to movement and recovery. She loves spending time with her husband and their doodle, Leo, and traveling the world with family and friends. With a wonderful circle of close-knit friends, Miki can often be found exploring new restaurants, hiking trails, and local events throughout the Valley and surrounding areas. When she’s not out adventuring, she’s likely planning her next off-the-beaten-path getaway.
