Workout Tips During the Holidays

We are smack in the middle of the holiday season! Time for giving, spending time with family, holiday parties, and food! Who has time to workout during the busy rush of the season? Well we want to help you make sure your waistline doesn’t grow as we continue through this fun winter season! Here are 5 workout tips during the holidays.
Get Outdoors
It is beautiful out! The temperatures will be in the 70’s later this week, get outside! Go find a hiking trail, grab the kids and go for a walk, take advantage of this beautiful Arizona weather.
Do Bodyweight Movements
Don’t have time to hit the gym? Don’t worry, get a workout in at home, or virtually anywhere with some great bodyweight movements! Think planks, push-ups, squats, mountain climbers..there are so many options!
Get the Family Involved
Grab your kids, aunts, or uncles, and play a game! Play tag, football, run around outside and have some fun with the family and stay active!
Workout During Commercials
It’s not only the holiday season, but it is football season! Get a jog around the blog or some push-ups during half time. Have fun with it and do 10 push-ups when your team scores, and 20 push-ups when the other team scores.
Look at the Holiday Lights!
Grab the family, bundle up, and walk around the local neighborhoods and check out the Christmas lights! This is a great way to get outside, and get into the holiday spirit!
