Kinesiotape / Rock Tape

Kinesiology TapeTaping can significantly improve your swelling and pain, reduce muscle tension and enhance performance.

Based on your initial evaluation or your presentation during a treatment, your physical therapist at Impact Physical Therapy may decide to apply Kinesiology Tape with a specialized amount of stretch and pattern to address your needs. Taping in a specific pattern with your body in varying positions, based on your presentation, is designed to make your day more pain-free, decrease swelling, and aid in your body’s healing mechanisms. Which in turn will help you return to your daily activities with less restriction.

Taping your injured area is designed to support and stabilize your muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. Taping has also shown to prolong the benefit of your treatment session in between physical therapy sessions.
