Dr. Jack Bott

Physical Therapist

Dr. Jack Bott is originally from Wadsworth, Ohio and received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. He continued at Slippery Rock University for graduate school and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016.

Post-professionally, Dr. Bott completed a full-time sports residency at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas with the IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute. He achieved certification as a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist in 2018. Additionally, he pursued certifications in Dry Needling and Sports and Orthopedic Manual Therapy.

His background has provided him a unique skill set that includes: hands-on techniques such as myofascial release, dry needling, taping, cupping, Active Release Technique (ART), joint mobilization, and manipulation, as well as short and long term mobility and strength programming. 

In the clinic, Dr. Bott thoroughly enjoys working with clients who find value in leading an active lifestyle. Whether recovering from an injury or an operation, maintaining a certain level of activity, or competing competitively, Dr. Bott prides himself in building personal relationships with his clients to guide them towards their goals. 

In addition, his passion for this field translates into teaching the next generation of physical therapists. In the clinic, Dr. Bott is a clinical instructor to Doctoral Interns and in the classroom, he contributes as an adjunct instructor at Franklin Pierce University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. 

Most importantly, Dr. Bott enjoys his time with his family, Dr. Melissa Abellanida, daughter Maggie (2), and son Jordan (3 months). As a family, they love to spend their time outdoors, traveling, and staying active.
